Port Adelaide Camera Club was formed in 1956.
We are made up of photographers of every level of experience from the complete beginner to the professional, with a friendly welcoming atmosphere that members and guests can get together to discuss and learn to develop their photography skills.
As of February 2017, PACC will meet in the Maritime Union of Australia Hall, 65 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide, on the 1st and 3rd (& 5th) Tuesday of each month from February though to November.
The first Tuesday is a Club Night, where we may have a guest speaker, a workshop night, the occasional outing or even just a more casual Share Night. The third Tuesday is competition Night, where members can submit images to be judged by qualified photographic judges. Our Competition year ends in November with the judging of our Photo of the Year. We end the Club year with our Trophy Presentation Night in early December.
Club nights always start at 7.30 pm (doors open at 7.00 pm - enter through side door in Hare Street) and end anywhere from 9.30 to 10.30 pm. You are most welcome to come and visit first to see if you would like to become part of our club.
Throughout the year we also schedule several outings so that we can practice our photography - please see our 'Current Calendar' tab on the top of the page for further details.
Full Membership for the year is currently $65 – this enables you to attend as many meetings and outings as you like, and to enter our monthly competitions. There is also an Associate Membership available ($25) for those that do not wish to compete, but would still like to be involved with the social aspect of club meetings and outings. However, you are most welcome to attend up to 3 meetings as a visitor in order to help you make up your mind if you wish to join us.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
